Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run - 4/2/06 It was a beautiful day for a run, but I was somewhat overdressed. The sun was out and the temperature was mild. The evil race organizers again scheduled this race the morning after the clocks are turned forward a hour. Nothing like losing an hour of sleep the night before a race. This year for the first time I think I even noticed the cherry blossoms! I kept an easy pace for about the first half of the race and then slowly started picking up the pace. I managed to run the second half four minutes faster than the first and ended up with a time about four minutes faster than last year. |
