FloridaAtlantic Masters - 2/6/06
So it is a perfect day here-- 70+ and bright
sunshine. I swam at noon with FloridaAtlantic Masters at Florida
Atlantic University in Boca. There were only about 7 people in the
practice with Coach Phil on deck. We did 3600: 4x200 free, 3x200 pull,
2x200 IM, (1x100, 2x75, 3x50, 4x25 free), 4x150 kick, 4x50 sprint, plus
warm-up and warm-down. The sun was great as was swimming in fresh air.
Like JCCNV, everyone questioned the coach but did the work. I need to
work on my tan to fit in better. I will do this Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday both weeks I think. Nice 12 lane pool but heater was broken so
water only 73 so we sent to the small pool which only has 8 lanes. It
was the most I have swum in one workout in a long time.
