The Jim McDonnell Lake Swim was outstanding this year.  The water was about 70 degrees, which to me is the perfect temperature.  The course remained unchanged, the party was excellent and the weather perfect. Water quality was also pretty good.

 

Sadly, we had only two JCCNV swimmers.  I was third in the 55-59 one mile no wetsuit (oddly, I would have been second in the wetsuit division with my time) and Susan was second in 19-24.  Due to a registration error, she only swam the one mile, although she begged them repeatedly to let her swim the two-mile also.

 

I don't know why we had such a poor turnout.  It is a great event, but would have been a lot more fun if we had a bunch of people there.  Next year!!
